It is definitely all about 50 shades of gray at the moment, film or interior! Ii looks lovely and am quite drawn to the idea of darkish gray walls however, as of yet they have only appeared as feature walls with the rest of the walls still painted a trusted shade of white! Maybe next home…
I love San Francisco and the cities fantastic stock of Victorian properties. Unlike London, despite being from the same era the properties were build with individual character rather than with the cookie-cutter approach. I would have a big big smile on my face coming home to this every day!
… or soon anyway, the IKEA "Nipprig" limited edition collection should be hitting an IKEA store near you end of the month. The collection is far east inspired and made at local producers in South East Asia. A lot of very nice stuff to chose from screens/ room dividers, baskets/ pots, rugs and sun hats!
Always a big day when news from Slettvoll is out! A few more lights and a sofa added to the collection. I think Slettvoll is becoming more and more international in their loo and should open a shop in London!
Stockholm Vitt is a blog about interior design with a Scandinavian/ New England theme.
Stockholm Vitt is a shade of white, a shade very common in Stockholm apartments. I have chosen this name as I think it perfectly captures the modern simple Scandinavian design that I love in two words.
For me Stockholm Vitt is white walls, stripped white washed floor boards, modern Scandinavian Design, simplicity and elegance, Stockholm's archipelago, sailing as well as fantastic summer houses in the Hamptons.
