RH meets Beach

Artwood lunched the white & black way of living for the Stockholm furniture fair earlier this year. I would describe it as a mix of Norwegian Slettvoll and American RH meets beach. Perfect for the modern summer beach house.

International Loft

Most attics in Stockholm has been converted to apartments as the one below. The key to a successful conversion is ceiling height, light and to keep some of of original features. Personally I think they have successfully transformed this one and added an international flair. Cozy yet beautiful!

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great spring weekend! Some inspiration with an apartment with the look from Stockholm at the moment: blond floors, white/ gray walls and kitchen with marble work, brass and gray cupboards.

Stylish Compact Living

Happy Friyay! Weekend coming up and maybe a few house viewings on the agenda? If you're looking for a small compact living space that is stylish and have separate space for everything save this post for inspiration! There are a lot of these studio apartments in Stockholm (or all over Sweden) that currently is being converted from a studio apartment with a larger kitchen to a small one bedroom with a open/ semi-open plan much more suitable for the way we live today. would take a month or two and would cost you a bit, but so worth it (in my opinion)!

Interior Windows

Sometimes a fully open plan is just not practical, but you still want natural light to flow through the space for example to divide of the kitchen space from a sleeping area. The solution is interior windows and yes if not done right (reed stylish) it can look a bit naff. Below are a few examples of when they have managed this look to perfection.
