It was love at first sight when I saw this apartment. I who normally don't even bother with a second glance at new builds that tend to be soulless and boring! This apartment on the other hand, amazing high ceilings and an industrial cool about them that's just impossible not to fall in love with!
Love this simple white bathroom with classic basin and shower from Burlington. The only thing I would personally change is adding a slightly more colourful floor, moroccan tiles or maybe classic marble (my choice hexagon tiles).
Love this simple and beautiful IKEA hack; buy three IKEA kitchen wall unit carcasses assemble and fit a marble worktop and viola you have a beautiful sideboard for a hallway or living room. You can also chose the larger base units and put them on legs or caster wheels.
First of October and time to welcome a new fall! It's not fall just yet in London, but I have started to replace summer bedding plants with more fall like foliage such as heather, anemones and my favourites sedum (below). In addition I will also get one or two pumpkins and a few decorative gourds and kales.
Stockholm Vitt is a blog about interior design with a Scandinavian/ New England theme.
Stockholm Vitt is a shade of white, a shade very common in Stockholm apartments. I have chosen this name as I think it perfectly captures the modern simple Scandinavian design that I love in two words.
For me Stockholm Vitt is white walls, stripped white washed floor boards, modern Scandinavian Design, simplicity and elegance, Stockholm's archipelago, sailing as well as fantastic summer houses in the Hamptons.
