I'm currently putting a mood board for a new kitchen together and want the layout to be super, include all the kitchen gadgets, be classic and a looker and not look messy (i.e. loads of storage required). As the stock of Victorian terraces in London is massive inspiration can be found anywhere from building companies to estate agents and any layout you like is also likely to work in your house as there is very little that varies in how the floors has been laid out.
Traditional kitchen with a large island, liking the sink but would get a range stove and plus a separate oven. Also want a small sink on the same side as stove for ease of cooking prep.
Modern and traditional with carrera marble and brass?
Currently seeking a color scheme for fall 2014 for the living room. Although I really like the inky blues that are in at the moment I think blue and white (as our sofa is white) is a bit too summery so I'm thinking either purple, beige and gray or brown, beige and white. And is it time to repaint too... Decisions, decisions, decisions...
Stockholm Vitt is a blog about interior design with a Scandinavian/ New England theme.
Stockholm Vitt is a shade of white, a shade very common in Stockholm apartments. I have chosen this name as I think it perfectly captures the modern simple Scandinavian design that I love in two words.
For me Stockholm Vitt is white walls, stripped white washed floor boards, modern Scandinavian Design, simplicity and elegance, Stockholm's archipelago, sailing as well as fantastic summer houses in the Hamptons.
