Neutral Magnolia

All new flats in the UK are painted with the universal neutral shade 'Magnolia'. Usually I think this shade is boring, but surfing on my lunch hour I find these pictures that are living proof neutral in Magnolia can look lovely!

Kitchen collection

Some inspiration from Sia's fall kitchen collection. I like the wall painted in  noticeboard pain. Gives the kitchen a cafe like touch.

Apartment Therapy by Lagerlings

As I have mentioned a few times before, Lagerlings is an estate agent in Stockholm's most fashionable part that focuses mainly on selling elegant (read expensive) apartments. I, and I thing a few others, always make sure to keep an eye on their site (just in case we would come across a small windfall). This apartment is not white, white but very neutrally decorated with some funky accessories such as the monkey candle lights.

Lovely home

The new posh estate agent Eklund, active on the NYC and Swedish market (mainly Stockholm) have this lovely flat in Stockholm for sale. I like the large rooms, light, fireplace and the modern kitchen mixed with the traditional features of the flat.

Living room by Pottery Barn

Cozy living room by Pottery Barn. Big fan of the the big windows, the color scheme white, red and neutral for fall and the big ladder. It feels very welcoming and warm perfect for the spending time inside season.

Nice Kitchen

I like the Swedish estate agent Alvhem, they make home staging look homely not clinical. Love the breakfast tray picture!

Welcome Fall!

End of summer, fall is around the corner. (My favorite season) Pottery Barn have new pictures and new collections out! Love the fall feeling of the below (even though it is fake leaves...). I wish London had  more colors in the fall Boston/ New England style!

Benjamin Moore together with Pottery Barn each season puts together a collection of paints. I love it, it matches the Pottery Barn style and feel and I wish it was a way of getting the actual colors not just sample decks in Europe... A selection of the colors below. Designed bathroom

Another inspirational bathroom designed by the NY based deisgn company S.R. Gambrel. I like the rectangular tiles and white furniture. Very classic, very American and very nice!

Zandvoort

Zandvoort, the Dutch sounding Swedish design boutique just outside of Stockholm have some inspirational pictures on their site. The shop is in an old industrial building with abundance of characther. A lovely shop to visit if you're in the area.

Unexpected Sia 2

Again, positively surprised by the look of Sia's fall collection. Very sophisticated NY Upper East side looking. Love the combination of silver and purple.

This beautiful Stockholm apartment was for sales by the top of the range estate agent Lagerlings a while back. I would give the designer an A+ grade for a successfully achieving the exclusive hotel look.
