Herringbone Floors
Swedish apartments from the beginning of the last century often have herringbone parquet floors. I love the look of them, but am not sure whether a small Victorian terrace can the grandeur of them...Still however considering the option and would probably go for oiled/ waxed, which is soft to walk on, in a warm not to yellow stain. The London based Walking on Wood has a great selection and my current favorite in Militaire.

Eames Rocking Chair
I love this chair and it has been on my to-buy list for quite some time, but as we are growing out of space in the flat it will not happen for just now. Unless, we put an armchair in storage...Picture is borrowed from Alvhem Makleri.

More Benjamin Moore
I like quite a few of the shades of the spring 2011 Pottery Barn/ Benjamin Moore collection. Below are a few more selected colors, Sparrow and Smoked Oyster. I know I said in an earlier blog that I might paint a feature wall in the bedroom Stone Brown, but I might actually go for Smoked Oyster.

Accessorize!
I love accessories and have more then enough to probably fill a large house, but still can’t stop buying seasonal accessories and few classics that will keep for year to come. My net buy will be one of these square candle holder Kubus. The plan is to pick it up to my next trip to Stockholm from the new great interior shop Illums Bolighus.

Green & White at Home
I like to mix up white with acent colors, I usually chance depending on season and lime green is a favorite for spring. A few years back I painted one of the walls in the hallway a lime green benjamin moore color and liked it so much it is still there. The insiprational pictures on how to use lime green are from Living Etc.Certain is that the front doorpainted lime green visitors would not get lost!

New Floors
Moving means new floors and it's not such an easy task The floor give the whole house a certain look and feel and is a very important decision and an expensive one. I am thinking of just having someone sanding, white washing and oiling the existing timber, but am just not sure about the UK quality...

Ski logdes
Snow, sun & skiing! I love a ski holiday, but usually it is very difficult to find comfortable and stylish accommodation. This year I found this (now I only need to find the money to rent it...)

Benjamin Moore & Pottery Barn Spring 2011 Colors
As they have done for a while Benjamin Moore and Pottery Barn have created a paint collection together for us to redecorate our homes in. Below are a few of the spring 2011 favorites of mine. I'm thinking of painting a feature wall of the 'Stone Brown' (last one below) in the bedroom.

Wisteria Discovered!
A lot of interior desig blogs go on about the shop Wisteria, but I can't really say I have fallen in love with it, but they do have some nice bits and pieces. Especially like the side board.

Cool Cabin
This cool cabin with a rustic feel is a weekend retreat in the Norweigan mountains. Raw and industrial feel makes this cabin quite unique. Also noting that they have 'my' lamp over the kitchen table! Pictures from Skona Hem
