Lake House to Love
Recently discovered the MSN Real Estate where they have featured some very nice renovation projects. One of these is the lake house that got a new life. I would love to have a little retreat like this to escape to. Especially like the over the water deck/ dock and the stairs and rope hand rail.

Read & White in the Hamptons
Some decoration ideas for summer red, white and wonderful. I would personally probably go for the blue and white summer theme, but the pop of color and the consistency of red in all rooms works. Like the window seat and attic bedroom.
The lovely home was featured in House beautiful (US)

New Paint Collection
Very exciting I know, Jontun recently launched their Lady Sensitive collection with paints mild enough to use even if you have asthma or in a baby's room. Colors are chalky and lady like! Below is a few selected samples of the new collection. Gustavian Blue, Lambs woll and Spring Air.

Random Lights
Mooni's random light from 2002 is a conteporary light made of rasin drained yearn and does have something magical about it. Works just as well over the dining as in the living room. Also comes in three different size to accomodate us who doesn't have the highest of ceilings and can fit the 105 cm in diameter version. Pictures are borrowed from the estate agent Lagerlings in Stockholm.

Spring Colors by Flamant
I like the Dutch (Belgian?) interior design company Flamant, their style could possibly be traditional style reinvented. If you are ever close to one of their shop I would recommend a quick trip for inspiration. In addition to furniture and accessories they also have their own paints, their spring colors below. I especially like the the four on the left.

Windows
Scandinavians dress their windows to allow light in and to make the home inviting from the outside looking in . Despite large windows letting warmth out old architecture have these great big windows and deep window sills to decorate and make your house your home. Attached are a few great examples of nice, large Scandinavian style windows.

Spring Inspiration
These spring like pictures are borowed from the blog My Home. The small pink flowers, not sure what they are, in the white carafe is so cute! I saw a similar carafe featured in Lexington's latest collection and think I might just have to look into getting one...

Swedish Apartments
There are a few reasons I love Swedish apartments from the beginning of the last century; large windows, old fire places, wooden floors and high ceilings. All pictures below are borred from the Alvhem Makleri.
