Cool Idea for Kitchen

Skona Hem featured this home in their latest issue, unfortunately not as many pictures online as in the magazine, which is too bad because I loved the living room. But also like the idea of building in an olive tree in the kitchen worktop. Also love the rug in the hallway (from Day.dk a shop I feel very drawn to at the moment) and might get that for our bedroom that is in need of a facelift.

Norweigan Dream Home

Voted the most beautiful home in Norway 2011 by magazine Bolipluss.no. This lovely home mixes styles, modern, country and shabby chic and loads of details and it makes a beautiful, beautiful home.

Dining Table for Christmas

We got our house a Christmas present in form of a new dining table, all set up and go just before Christmas so don't really need any additional dining table inspiration pictures, but just had to show you this. Love the shabby chicness and the wall color in this picture. And how nice would it be to have a open fire in the kitchen too!

Next Years Christmas Tree

After I found these amazing pictures I decided that next year there will be an alternative Christmas tree and this is what we are doing! Now the only think I need to do is to get a non-evergreen small tree for the garden and a beautiful silvery pot and we're all sorted! Pictures are borrowed from the blog Svenngarden.

This Scandinavian home featured in the Norwegian interior glossy BoBedre is decorated in a theme e recognize, all white with black and grey accents. I love it and think it looks and feels super cozy! Chabby chic and Gustavian in one!

Only one short week to go until Christmas and time to light the fourth candle. Simple and beautiful arrangement with pine, eucalyptus and cinnamon. Love it!

Another beautiful home from Alvhem. I think this is slightly different then their usual styling and is more serene. I love this all white home accentuated with black and white accessories. I wonder whether the living room lamp it own designed or bought? Also very much like the '5' picture, will have to find a reason to  print and frame a number just like that...

Lovely Christmas pictures from Skona Hem and this Danish Home where Christmas is cozy and understated. Love the seat on the veranda, the clean line fireplace and the balcony door in the bedroom.

Maimi Beach Apartment

Who would not want a beach apartment in a arm climate to escape to this time a year? This Miami home was shot for Elle Decor's November issue and is super chic and has a great sea view terrace. Design mixture of modern and retro,  especially like the Scandinavian dining area (both chairs and table are Scandinavian design classics) and the media room within the room.

International in Sweden

This lovely Swedish home was featured in Swedish Skona Hem's last issue. The owner wanted a new look and feel as to his home and created together with an interior designer this fantastic, international looking space. The wood is all stained oak and the soft furniture natural colors, a renovation I would be very proud of!
