Dream Kitchens

Selecting a new kitchen can be a very long process. What units to choose in what color, what tiles, what floors, what appliances , what color walls it just goes on and on. Currently I am in the camp of having white units (Farrow & Ball Pointed White), waxed granite kitchen units, oak work top for kitchen island and walls in Farrow & Ball shaded white, but bear with me, not decided yet!  A few selected inspiration pictures below.

Lovley Bedrooms

After the kitchen extension the next major renovation task is extending into the loft and make a bedroom/ guest room complete with shower room and I have just started the process in collecting inspiration for this.

Farrow & Ball Paints

We are about to embark on a kitchen extension project and as part of that will repaint the existing kitchen, a lovely shaker style kitchen that came with the house. I love the look of Farrow &; Ball paints on wood/ cabinets and have decided to go with one of their many shaed of white, on the table at the moment is Shaded White, Lime White, Pointed and Bone. A very difficult decision...

Tiny White

When I studied I used to live in a very small apartment and a few dorm rooms. It is possible to live on 16m2 you just have to be cleaver with storage and constantly keep making sure all your studd is not crowding the place. The below pictues is a perfect example of that small can also be very beautiful.

Dream Summer Home

It's the time of the year I'm starting to think that it would be nice with a summer pad to hang out at on weekends. The dream would be something like this amazing summer house in the Stockholm archipelago.

Outdoor 'living rooms' are very inn at the moment and I wish I was living in a climate that justified the investment. Or maybe I'll just buy something small like this.

Garden Furniture

As I mentioned a few days ago, Slettvoll's new garden collection is very very nice and low maintenance. The only thing you need to do is power wash it once a year! Pictures below.

White Nights and Windows

As anyone reading my blog on a regular basis would know, I love the Scandinavian white light and the style of windows used in the turn of the last century architecture that comes with apartments in this area. Below is a perfect example of this. And considering the white nights it will be bright all day and night in this flat. Like the leaning shelfs in black for a nice contrast too. White in San Fransisco

Living with Wood

On a recent holiday I borrowed a book from the library of the hotel called Living with Wood. A book on Dutch and Belgian homes with created with lot of wood. Lovely Summer Home!
