who gave the house what he described as a much-needed organic overhaul,
installed French-oak floors in the kitchen and created the island using
reclaimed wood topped by Carrara marble. The industrial pot rack and
light fixtures—like the stainless-steel Viking range and hood, and
Sub-Zero refrigerators—complement the counters and backsplash of
dark-gray Basaltina stone.
